This will be Oscar De La Hoya's first
fight at 154 pounds. De La Hoya will be facing a very talented and hard
hitting Javier Castillejo. The fight will most likely play out with De
La Hoya utilizing his superior speed in the opening rounds to wear down
the larger Castillejo. Look for De La Hoya to try to get ahead on the scoring
quickly. Castillejo should counter De La Hoya's speed with body shots in
an effort to slow his quicker opponent down. Castillejo will try to use
his size and power advantage to frustrate De La Hoya in hopes of landing
a big combo to send De La Hoya to the canvas. Look for De La Hoya
to become one of a select few to win world title in four different divisions
by easily out pointing Javier Castillejo. Please remember, no offense
to De La Hoya nor his fans, but this will NOT be his fifth world title
as his WBO Junior Lightweight Title he won against Johnny Bredahl is not
a true world title.
