Joma Gamboa won his first world
title on his fourth try after failing twice at Junior Flyweight and once
at Strawweight. Gamboa is not considered to be one of the top fighters
in neither the Strawweight nor Junior Flyweight divisions, but he has won
a decision over current champion Noel Arambulet. Gamboa recently lost
another oppurtunity for a world title and one has to think how many shots
will this guy get. Most of his title fights have been close, but one
has to think he has proven over and over again he just isn't championship
material. |
