Andrew Golota had more than enough
talent to be the heavyweight champion, but he lost focus very easily in the
ring and that cost him his chances. Golota had Riddick Bowe beat on
two different occasions, but got disqualified when things started to not
go his way. Golota also had Michael Grant all but finished, but decided
to quit instead of finishing him off. In his last fight, against Mike
Tyson, Golota quit after
the 2nd round after being knocked down and cut by Tyson. That fight cemented his legacy as a
mentally distraught fighter who never reached the potential that he should
have. |
