This fight has the potential to be
a fight of the year candidate and go down as one of the great super fights
of all time. Two undefeated champions putting their belts and reputations
on the line. Okay, enough hype! We at BoxingGurus.com see this
fight having a fast and furious pace. Look for Fernando Vargas to
push the pace and because of his inexperience (he is only 21) get caught
in the early rounds by Felix Trinidad and be put on the canvas. Felix
Trinidad is a smart and powerful boxer who has all the tools. He
won’t get caught exchanging blow for blow with Vargas, but will try to
counter punch and put together good combinations. Vargas will get
behind on the scorecards and start taking chances late in the fight.
At this point is where we see Trinidad finishing off Vargas. Vargas
still has a great future ahead of him and this fight will only make him
better no matter the outcome.
